February Footnotes for the Maddox Dancers….
Casting has been completed for the production of WIZARD OF OZ…to be performed June 16-17 in the Astoria High School Auditorium.
Our 62nd annual dance recitals will be held on the same dates, with times to be announced.
February 11th we are hosting faculty members of the SUMMER DANCE LAB, Whitman College, in Walla Walla, Washington..for audition/master classes.
April 7th will be the date for the Young Choreographers adjudications, and the following week April 13-14 the works will be presented in concert at the Performing Arts Center of Clatsop Community College. |
May 5 will be the annual Tap Dance festival, with guest performers from Hollywood Dance center, in Portland, and the Tapped Out Tappers of Astoria, along with tap dancers at Maddox Dance Studio.
We are pleased to announce our Photographer for recital pictures will be Justin Grafton, an artist with his camera!
We welcome Cory Pederson, as the new conductor of the Little Ballet Theatre orchestra, he comes to us with a wealth of experience as a conductor/educator.
Lee Stromquist has retired from the podium, but happily he will stay involved with LBT. |
