April 2 – the adjudication of Young Choreographers

April 8-9 – Young Choreographers Concert at the Performing Arts Center, 7:00 PM on the 8th and 2:00 PM on the 9th!

Come support these very talented young dancers!

May 7 – the Annual TAP FESTIVAL
Also at the PAC… It is a very Tap Happy show… Annual appearances of the Maddox dancers, and the Hollywood Dance Center dancers from Portland, plus the very fun TAPPED OUT TAPPERS of Astoria. Don’t miss this show!

June 11 and 12… Yes, it is the 61st annual dance recitals – Showtime 2011!!!! Liberty Theatre

There are three recitals on the 11th:

12:00 noon all of the preschoolers take the stage

2:30 and 6:30 complete the slate of dancers, who will dance for you, in the beautiful Liberty

On Sunday the 12th it is ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Dance by Little Ballet Theatre, and selected classes!

Costumes by Debbie Barbic, music arranged from the Alice soundtrack, plus other classics, by Michael Alderman, and narrated by Jeanne Peterson… this was originally performed by Little Ballet Theatre in 1988, repeated in 2004, and now again in 2011! We are very proud to present this ballet to you! Come and enjoy!

Showtime is 5:00 PM – the time was selected to avoid the many people attending the Sunday market so parking, so parking should be plentiful!
